The rant (Decent post to follow later today, I hope)

Hmmm....Pretty sure its around half 4am on a Monday morning, could be wrong. Just worked one of the longest weekends ever \m/  (Yes that is the 'metal'sign, No, i dont care if i did it wrong). So yeah, just got home from a 14 hour shift of stress!!! Well, about 4 hours of it was stress, the other 10 pretty cool. But lets be honest, sometimes, 4 hours of stress outweighs 10 hours of bliss. (What? My grammer is shit? Oh well, I'm drunk) :-) I'm pretty sure its bed time soon, but, i need a little vent. and that was it.

I had spent all week planning the perfect blog post for today (Monday) but its going to have to wait until i have slept to really do it justice. I have had one of the most amazing weeks ever. I'm still not an aunty but i've been with my boyfriend Harry for a year now and out anniversary was amazing. I have some wonderful pictures to share with you, whoever you are :-) Hopefully this post will only be at the top of my blog for a short time, otherwise i fear never having any people following.

Hmm, not really perfected the art of getting people to stay and read more but I figure this might work for now.

So anyway, we got bored last night and decided to play along with a TV quiz show called 'Pointless'. Its kind of like 'Family Fortunes' but the other way round. So, where in 'Family fortunes' you have to pick the most obvious answers to questions (put to 100 people) like Things you might find in a bedroom, where your answer would probably be bed and could score you 100 because 100 people gave this answer. In 'Pointless' you have to pick the most obscure, sticking with the same question you might pick something like boxes, which, lets say you will score 0 points because nobody gave this answer, but its something you might find there. The aim of 'Pointless' is to get the lowest amount of points. The person with the lowest wins. Simple and funny. Espically when you both shout at the TV with your answers.......I'M PLAYING TOO DAMMIT, LISTENNNN TO MEEEE!!!

While playing Harry got bored.....Take a peek at his sketches! Very funny, he got excited by his play on words. Haha

It's Sunday....Again??? Damn!

I do actually like Sundays, what my title should have been is it's raining! AGAIN! Although, to say again implied it stopped for a while, it's been raining for three days. I'm sick of getting wet and wearing boots, when I want to wear my shoes or trainers and baggy jeans. So I was forced by the rain (and lack of money) to stay in today, trolling around the interweb for ways to make my blog more interesting, to get you lovely people to stay and follow and keep coming back. On a good note though, I got my first follower today and my first comment, by two different blogs which made me happy. I found a cool blog "She may be naked but she's not stupid!" which had A page and post titled "26 things to do while I'm 26". What a pretty cool idea I thought. So, I pinched it (Asked permission first though, thank you), you can find it on one of my pages. I would like to ask though, if anyone has any cool ideas to help me with my blog or constructive criticism for me, then feel free.

On another note, considering we were stuck in the house today we decided to cook a chicken casserole with roast potatoes. FIT I hear you say?? Oh it was. Perfect winter warmer. But, I was so hungry when it came from the oven I forgot to take a picture of it, because....Urmm...I did. Deal with it :oP

Fun times and fast rides!

Feel like I've neglected my blog this week, not good Cheryl. So here goes, Went to Alton Towers on Tuesday, one word AMAZING!! The traffic getting there was awful though, took us two and a half hours when it should have only taken just over an hour, but all that aside when we got there it was so quiet, No ques!! :-D Managed to get on everything more than once, even three times!! Because of this I didn't manage to take many pictures, but here are the ones I did take :-)

Rainy days, books and Monday.......

Yesterday (Sunday), even though it rained was lovely :-) Book shopping in Chorlton with the Mr. But we don't go to a normal book shop like waterstones, we prefer the charity book shops, they actually smell like a book shop should. Had a lovely day, wonderful lunch and I also completed my Cecilia Ahern collection, which made my day, even though I havnt gotten around to reading one of them already in my collection. Also, Sunday night turned out to be our curry night Whoohoo!!! I love curry, home cooked and take-away. Korma is my curry of choice, but as the Mr keeps telling me, these are westernised names and curries in India are not actually named like this, weird eh? :-)  I realise now, in the photo, that it doesn't look very appetising, but I promise you that it was amazing :-D

Today I went to visit my brothers girlfriend at their house, she is pregnant and due on Saturday!! I know, five days left and I'll be an auntie for the first time!!! So I thought, with it probably being the last time I will see her before my niece Lexie is born, I'd take a photo :-) Look!!!

Also, just realised the date on my camera is wrong! Haha........................................................

On another note, I taught my mum how to use msn messenger today so we can have web chats and video chats when my phone isn't working :-D She did wonderful! 

And, i can't get enough of the sky today, beautiful!

The bedroom post.

This post is not what it may seem from the title, simply a post from the bedroom because the Mr wants to play gears of war. But I'm quite happy residing on my comfy bed having had a lovely evening out with some friends. 

I was at a total loss of what to do today, having no work until Thursday night but very little money to boot. At first i was going to go swimming, but after looking on their websites for time tables I realised that they have strict times and you need a membership to swim in the leisure center! Whats with that? I remember when i could just turn up at a pool, any pool and swim. Anyway, my friend Emma suggested to me that i go with her to her meditation class tonight. With my job being so stressful at times and having to deal with difficult people and situations, i thought what the hell? So i tagged along with her and another one of my friends. I had such a lovely time, it was only a one hour session, but i swear i was only in there for 20 mins, if that, time flew. I was so relaxed when i came out, felt so peaceful and didn't get bugged by one commuter rushing around like the world was gonna end, just so they can get home to watch coronation st. Which is a HUGE bonus as people tend to bug me so much. The class was at the Manchester Buddhist center, lovely place, so calm and quiet and hidden. The staff were lovely and the man giving the class too. I would like to go back next week, breathing exercises, think these would serve me well, but alas, I'm going to Alton Towers :-) Yeeeaaahhhhaaaaaa....Being on the adrenalin rush!! 

Anyhow, I'm gonna go watch TrueBlood and dream of the undead. And maybe play some gears of war with the Mr :-) Bye. And thank you for reading. 

Hours before work.......

I'm beginning to despise the hours before going to work. I mostly work nights in the pub where I'm bar supervisor and assistant manager, which is difficult and stressful but so much fun. But, what am i meant to do during the day. If i go out to town or visit my mum or food shopping then I'm too tired at work, especially at the end of my shift when i have to do the counting and number side of things. But, i do enjoy my TV shows, certain ones the man will refuse to watch, which is why we have on demand TV :-D Whoop whoop!!! This makes me happy! Plus we seem to have a growing tower building of DVDs now! But, despite these things I'm still very very bored. I've taken to watching re-runs of the Gilmore girls and one tree hill..........Arghhh I've seen them all before! Even now, I'm writing for the sake of writing, in-case you didn't notice. Ha. Dammit....Bye.

Teapots and flowers

It was my birthday on Monday! (Happy birthday to me!) and to celebrate, I did what most people my age did and many others, I presume, I went to the pub. I had an amazing day and got many presents and cards from my friends, one of them is what I'm writing this on, another was a bunch of flowers! I was so happy, I had never gotten a bunch of flowers before :-D I'm not allowed to buy them because they are too girly for the flat, says my boyfriend haha So this left me with a dilemma........I had no vase to put them in. Bad right? Wrong...........From the pub I work in, I aqqired a tall pint glass to put them in. So, I get home, but alas there are too many flowers, they wont all fit, but my friends......this is what empty beer bottles are for!!

I wish my teapot had been big enough for them, It would have looked so cute. I love teapots, all kinds, shapes and sizes. So, on a day trip out with my mum a few weeks ago I saw hundreds, choosing one was very hard but I could not afford them all. I bought this one, which is lovely, its hand painted, so there may be loads like it, but none exactly the same. Which makes me happy!

I'm so excited, my first post! Not really going to take this in a particular direction, i like too many things, so im going to write about them all, every day using my brand new birthday present, my new netbook (Big thanx to my wonderful man).

I love to write, for hours on end (dont worry though haha) and i find interest and beauty in the strangest of things, plus since i have a memory card reader on this there should be pictures a plenty to take you on a virtual journey of my strange and beautiful life. 

I'm looking forward to what i hope my blog will become and to reading many interesting things along the way :-)

Oh, and i love Chinese food!!! :-D
